Spiral Galaxy NGC 6942
Richard Asarisi obtained this image of the beautiful face-on spiral galaxy NGC 6946, also known as the Fireworks Galaxy, using a Meade 12-inch LX850 telescope and an AstroPhysics CCDT67 imager. The galaxy is about 18 million light years away.
