Spiral Galaxy NGC 6942
Richard Asarisi obtained this image of the beautiful face-on spiral galaxy NGC 6946, also known as the Fireworks Galaxy, using a Meade 12-inch LX850 telescope and an AstroPhysics CCDT67 imager.  The galaxy is about 18 million light years away.

Iceland Aurora
If you want to see the Northern Lights, Iceland is a good place to go.  Jim Mazur captured these images (and many more) on an October trip to Iceland.  He used a Canon 400D camera and exposures of about 20 seconds.
