Laurie Averill used an Celestron NexYZ adapter to attach an iphone 5S to an 8×40 pair of binoculars, as shown below. She captured the Hyades, the Moon, and the Pleiades. The Moon image was a snapshot, and the exposures for the Hyades and Pleiades were about 5 to 10 seconds.
