Our Speakers for this year are:
Bob Berman

Bob is one of the best-known and most widely-read astronomers in the world. He is perhaps uniquely able to translate complex scientific concepts into language that is understandable to the casual observer yet meaningful to the most advanced. His dry, edgy wit engages readers of such diverse publications as Discover Magazine, Astronomy Magazine, and The Old Farmers Almanac. He is the author of seven books. His newest and most epic, The Suns Heartbeat, will be published this July by Little, Brown.
Tom Hoffelder

Tom Hoffelder has been an avid amateur astronomer for 37 years and is an accomplished deep space observer. He has managed to hone his skills while living in such diverse places as Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, Oklahoma, California and even Connecticut. He is acknowledged as one of the first to realize the possibility of observing all of the Messier objects in one night.

Carolyn Moore

Caroline became interested in astronomy at the age of 10, when she got her first telescope. Since then, she has volunteered her time working with children, in her community, to help them better understand space and astronomy. In April 2008, Caroline joined the Puckett Supernova Search Team. She found her first supernova, sn2008ha, in UGC 12682, just eight months later at the age of 14, it is a type 1a-p supernova and the least luminous supernova ever observed.
