These images of the Moon were taken on June 3 with a Coulter 8-inch f/4.5 dob. The eyepiece was a 4-mm 82-degree Astrotech UWA. All images were straight through the eyepiece with an iPhone.  The last image used the iPhone’s zoom. Tycho is in the center right of the image. You can just make out some of the light and dark areas on crater’s right wall, and its lit center peak. In the scope visually there were quite a few light and dark areas that were very nice to observe.

The Moon was less than 29 hours old when I took this shot on April 28 with a Canon T6i camera and a 200-mm lens. For me, this is was a personal record for the youngest Moon I have seen. Any Moon younger than 24 hours is supposedly very hard to see, but this one, just a few hours older, was easy once the sky got dark enough.
